Classic Solutions Engineering Ltd have a well equipped machine shop with both CNC and conventional machinery. Our HURCO CNC machining centre was formerly owned by Williams Grand Prix Engineering and has the capacity to machine large pieces of work such as engine casings etc. The machine weighs 4 ½ Tonne, is 10 feet wide and 9 feet tall. It has a 20 tool automatic tool change and 100 tool library. The spindle has a separate refrigeration unit to temperature control the oil which lubricates it, so long production runs are no problem. The machine is linked to a CAD/CAM workstation which can translate cad drawings into CNC programmes. We also have a small CNC lathe for prototype work and our partner company has a larger Mazac CNC lathe for large production runs.

We realize that many people do not have the facilities to produce the detailed production drawings that most engineering firms require, and we like to think that we have the experience necessary to understand your sketches and turn even a “fag packet” sketch into a quality component.
