This is the first Vincent twin to be fitted with a Classic Solutions magneto replacement. This particular machine is an Egli Vincent owned by Stuart Green. The kit is also available to fit Vincent Comets. The Classic Solutions magneto replacement was supplied complete with electronics manufactured by Pazon. The main features of the system are shown below.
- Special Vincent advance curve
- Stator has a built in timing light for easy static timing.
- Uses approx 0.5 Amps of power so can be run in a total loss system.
- Built in electronic rev limiter which can be set with the push of a button.
- Complete kit can be simply bolted on in place of the old KV2 magneto.
- Complete kit includes Magneto replacement Unit, Stator, Rotor, Miniature ignition coil, Plug Caps, HT Lead, Control Module.
- Fit and forget.
- 7.5 year warranty on the electronic components (excluding coil).
The magneto Replacement Unit is machined from billet on our own machining centre which was formerly owned by Williams GP Engineering. This ensures accuracy and we have a reputation for top quality machining. The shaft is made from silver steel and we only use FAG bearings.
