My 1991 Ducati 900SS.
In 1989 I bought my first Ducati. I traded in a Norton Commando and bought a brand new Ducati 906 Paso. The following year Ducati announced the arrival of the new 900SS. While I loved the 906 Paso I couldn't avoid the lure of the new SS. With its white frame and wheels and its bright red paintwork I was caught in a trap that I would never escape from. It took me 14 years to achieve my goal. And now its MINE !.
I bought this 900SS from Aberdeen in 2004 shortly after I returned from living in Germany.
It looked OK but was in need of a lot of TLC. Its amazing what you find when you remove the bodywork.
A complete rebuild was undertaken.
This was a sight to behold... my 1991 750SS alongside my 1991 900SS
First outing of the season. This is my SS at the Northumberland Bikers Easter egg run. I make it to this run every year and even flew back to attend it when I was living in Germany. 500+ bikes every year and good craic.
