BSA GOLD STAR ELECTRONIC IGNITION
We now have an electronic ignition conversion for mag/dyno models. Seen in the pictures above, The ignition system fits inside a standard magneto housing and unlike other conversions of its type, the HT lead comes directly from the magneto to the plug. To special request this is a light weight version of our magneto replacement unit. The body of these units are drilled out to save weight while retaining the strength of the original. Other areas of the unit are milled out and even the shaft is hollow to remove as much weight as possible. The cap is also machined to be thinner and is then engraved with the classic solutions logo. We can also supply the units fitted with specially programmed electronic ignition modules with your own or our special advance curves and even built in rev limiters. The unit on the left is fitted with our light weight aluminium drive gear. ELECTRONIC IGNITIONS FOR VINCENT TWINS.

The Egli Vincent is owned by Stuart Green and is now fitted with a Classic Solutions magneto replacement. We are confident that it is now the best ignition kit available for Vincent twins. MAGNETO REPLACEMENTS !!! Our latest design of magneto replacement has a smaller diameter body to fit BSA and other makes where magneto access is limited. The unit now has a CNC machined cap to replace the cast cap on the older versions. The unit on the right has a built in engine breather which allows the crank case to breathe through the base flange of the magneto replacement. This particular unit is fitted with a modified digital electronic ignition and was used in this years Manx GP fitted to a Triton . Picture shows a Classic Solutions magneto replacement and the same unit fitted to a customers Triton with Triumph T110 motor and 6Volt Dynamo. The Unit replaces the Lucas K1F or K2F magnetos and some applications of the 18D2 Distributor.(Picture by kind permission of Terry Hurley) Our aim is to use modern technology to produce bespoke products which will out perform the original equipment without detracting from the original appearance of the vehicle.
